HARD ROCK HOTEL AND CASINO PUNTA CANA / Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

  “ A splendid vacation” My husband and I travelled to the Moon Palace Golf and Spa resort for 1 week in February 2010. Upon check-in, the hotel did not have us in their company system but did accomodate us without hesitation. The best part about this hotel: the staff. Always friendly, cheerful, respectful. Most staff could not speak very good English, however, that did not stop them from being extremely helpful. The food at the a la carte restaurants was very good to excellent, seasoned perfectly (we don t like overly salted or peppered food so we were pleased with this). Our caribbean suite room was very well decorated and had a 2 person hot tub (this is a basic room type, quite nice for basic!). The rooms, public spaces, bathrooms were all very clean, all of the time (I m a germaphobe so this was again, very appreciated). The pools were amazing as were the pool bars and outdoor BBQs. We had the best time at pool #3...the bar staff were very fun, and allowed us to play our own music from our ipod.
