STARFISH CAYO SANTA MARIA / Cayo Santa Maria, Cuba

  All i can say, DO NOT believe what people write about this place. I ve been to Cuba many many times, different cities in Cuba, and every time loving it. First of all the Hotel is Fantastic, staff, Fantastic. Remember you are treated the way u treat, they always have a smile on their face, even having done 12, 16, or more hours. The premises are very clean. Food, well i can t complain, like one traveller said and true, even the pickiest people always have something to eat, you will not starve. And for those going to Cuba or anyplace for that matter, do not expect what you have here at home to be there, afterall you are in Cuba, they try and do accomodate to everyone. The beaches are the best. We had a little wind, but hey thats mother nature and not the hotels fault. We had chairs every morning, under the palapas, yes we got up a little earlier for them, but not 6 o clock. People that complain that come on the beach and find no palapas, thats your fault and not hotels, i agree we are on vacation, like to sleep in, but why pay money to come sleep in till 11, then come on beach and expect everything at your hand, get up early, get your chairs, and sleep on beach, hows that!!!! I have no complains whatsoever, would i go back, yes i would and will, looking into it....we had a great time. And our flight with Sunwing was great also, they were on time to and from, very organized. Anyway all i can say is if your thinking about this Hotel, don t hesitate! Your vacations are what you make of it.......Have a great vacation!!!!
