Sámara is located on the Pacific Coast in the Guanacaste Province of Costa Rica. It has been the prefered vacation destination for both locals and foreigners. There are around 1500 residents in the area, including the neighbouring towns of Torito and Cantarrana. The main street leads directly to the beach. Here you will find an authentically Costa Rican atmosphere. The people visiting Sámara are generally Italian, Canadian, German, and U.S.-American.
