We arrived at 1030 in the morning fully expecting to wait until 3pm to get our room, but to our surprise the room was ready and within minutes we were on the beach. We were the only ones at checkin and the staff were very friendly and service was great! I was giving my checkin particulars when a girl from the bar approached my wife and I with two drinks! The food was excellent with lots of variety to chose from! The resort was clean and all staff were friendly. This was the third time for my wife and I in the DR and this resort was the best we have stayed in by far!!! We would return tomorrow if we could. We highly recommend it to anybody considering the Iberostar Bavaro. Only negative of the trip was I had left my glasses in the Gourmet restaurant one night but didn't realize they were missing until the next morning. When we returned to the restaurant and front desk for lost and found they were not there. I was disappointed that somebody from the restaurant staff would have stolen these, but this could have happened anywhere in the world as there are always going to be some dishonest people out there.
