Opened in 2007 and part of the Sunflower Hotels group of business class Rome 4 star hotels, the Cardinal Hotel St Peter is located almost inside Villa Pamphili, one of the city’s huge public parks, where guests may take in the fresh Roman air and relax in tranquil surroundings. Thanks to our extensive complex, we’re one of the few 4 star hotels in Rome to be able to offer private secure parking, a swimming pool and rooms with balconies facing the magical sight of St Peter’s dome.
At the 4 star Cardinal Hotel St Peter we have 115 opulent and spacious rooms available, all designed and maintained to the highest standard to provide a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing environment and a fully hassle free stay for all the family.
Most of our rooms are doubles but connecting rooms can be requested for families or groups. We have five single rooms ideal for our business guests, 11 triple rooms and two luxurious suites for that special occasion. Our large comfortable beds are of the highest quality and naturally, all rooms come with full luxury bathroom accessories and a fully stocked mini-bar as standard.
En suite bathrooms are done out in marble and granite and are each fitted with a hairdryer. In the main section of the room there’s a 23 inch plasma TV with pay-per-view, all controlled with a hi-tech keypad, in keeping with the coded door locks and climate control.
33 of our rooms also have balconies facing the majestic sight of St Peter’s dome and the sprawling lights of the city, though the view is probably best taken in from our rooftop bar and Jacuzzis

We’re also proud to offer guests the use of our outdoor swimming pool during the warmer months. The real jewel in the crown of the 4 star superior Cardinal Hotel St Peter however, is our rooftop bar, which looks out over the cityscape of Rome - including the dome of St Peter’s Basilica - and has three large Jacuzzis in which guests can enjoy the view in true style!
Our restaurant is open from 12 till 2pm and from 7 till 10.30pm daily and we have various packages and special promotions that include half or full board catering options.
