1. Intent on buying
All our sales are final. If you book on this site, it means you meant to buy with the following conditions.
The tour operator, the wholesaler, the airlines or us (VOYAGESDESTINATION.COM) reserve the right and privilege to cancel your booking FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER (besides those regarding discrimination in the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedom), within 24 working hours following your booking with due notice to you regarding the cancellation.
2. Prices
All our prices are subject to change without notice. Any changes to our prices will not affect current bookings which will remain at the price booked at without any increase or decrease, except in regards to any laws applicable, including those mentioned in section 15 hereto.
3. Name changes
Name changes are not allowed. Typo corrections, if possible and allowed by the supplier, will incur a $15 charge plus any charges imposed by the supplier.
4. Deposits are not possible
Full payment is required at time of booking.
5. Cancelations
NO REFUNDS - All our sales are final and nonrefundable
7. Airline schedules
Flight times are subject to changes as well as possible layovers may be added on either the onward or return legs or both.
Since flight times are subject to changes, you must confirm the exact times 48 hours before departure.
8. Kids
Transport Canada allows a child that will be less than two years of age AT THE RETURN DATE to fly for free if they do not occupy a seat. A reservation must be made under the child name and no meal (if any) will be put aside for the child.
9. Tickets
The airline tickets are non-transferable and only valid for the name of the passenger on it. Any non-used portion of any ticket may not be refunded. Not using a portion of the ticket makes all further flights no longer valid and a new ticket shall be purchased at the cost of the passenger. This includes missed flights.
10. Baggage limitation
Each airline sets its own rules regarding baggage limitation and fees and is subject to change. Please check with the proper airline.
The Montreal Convention (formally known as the Warsaw Convention), ratified by Canada, dictates the rules and limits airline liability regarding luggage loss and damages. This limit is very low and proper additional insurance is recommended.
11. Passport and Visas
The passengers shall obtain all required travel documents at their expense. Canadian citizens must have a valid passport with an expiry date of at least six months after the planned travel date in order to travel, and in some countries, a visa might be required. If you need clarification, contact the embassy of the country you plan on visiting during your trip.
Any parents traveling alone with a child must have one of the following documents with them:
1) A notarized letter of consent from the other parent allowing him/her to travel alone with their child;
2) A court order granting sole custody to the traveling parent; or;
3) A death certificate for the other parent.
12. Travel Insurance
The provincial medical insurance systems do not provide sufficient coverage for foreign travel. You, therefore, need travel insurance. You may contact us to see if any of the plans we offer could be of interest to you and other members of your party.
13. Acts of God
We do not and cannot be held liable for any loss of any kind due to any acts of gods.
14. The expectation of Good faith
The parties hereto (that means the travelers and us) must act in good faith and do whatever is possible in order to minimize loss should a situation occurs. Therefore, any claims made shall be limited to the lowest possible amount that could have occured if the party at fault had done what was possible to reduce losses.
15. Price modifications after purchase
In accordance to the June 30th, 2010 modifications to the Loi et au Règlement sur les agents de voyages du Quebec, prices may be adjusted following the purchase if and only if a change in currency exchange rates or a fuel surcharge, calculated with 45 days prior to departure, is greater than 5 %. If the change is greater than 7%, the consumer may ask for a refund or pay the surcharge but must accept and pay any adjustment less than 7%.
16. Applicable laws and jurisdiction
This agreement and transaction shall be governed by the laws of the province of Quebec and any legal actions pertaining to this booking shall be made in the Montreal judicial district of the province of Quebec. Les parties à la présente ont expressément convenu que celle-ci soit tédigée en Anglais.
